§ 6-59. Theft.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person to commit the crime of theft. Theft is the misappropriation or taking of anything of value of less than $100.00 which belongs to another, either without the consent of the owner to the misappropriation or taking, or by means of fraudulent conduct, practices or representations. An intent to deprive the owner permanently of whatever may be the subject of the misappropriation or taking is essential.
